This leads to more meaningful matches than pure swiping. The free tier is exceptionally generous: unlimited messaging, unlimited likes, and full profile visibility. Premium A-List tier (around KES 1,200/month) adds advanced filters, read receipts, and profile boosts. The user base in Africa is smaller than Badoo or Tinder but notably more educated and values-driven. It works well in university environments — Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Accra — and among the NGO and expat communities. M-Pesa is not supported. The app recently removed the 'DoubleTake' match queue in favour of showing a full grid of matches, which makes the experience feel more like browsing than discovering. Safety features are solid with photo verification and a dedicated reporting system.
