Contact form: Afrolu stores the name, email address, subject, message, submission time, read status, and request IP address used for the submission. The IP address is also used for an hourly submission limit.
Email-interest form: if used, Afrolu stores the email address, optional country interest, and source page so a requested launch update can be associated with the submission.
Do not place passwords, M-PESA PINs, banking credentials, government-identification numbers, intimate material, or another person's private data in either form.
The released app finder, safety checker, and cost calculator run their result logic in the browser. Their form answers are not posted to an Afrolu result endpoint. Normal page requests, analytics, cookies, and network services described below are separate from those answers.
afrolu_country cookie can remember a selected country. For public IP addresses, Afrolu's country-detection code may send the IP address to ipinfo.io and, if needed, ip-api.com to obtain a country code. The result may be cached by IP for the configured cache period. If those lookups do not return a country, the code can use the browser's language header or default to Kenya.
Pages also request font files from Google Fonts. Commercial redirect clicks, when present, can store an anonymous session identifier, platform and city slugs, placement, device flag, detected country, referrer, and timestamp; the click record does not include a name or email field.
The current application code does not define one automatic deletion window for every stored record. To ask what contact or email-interest information Afrolu holds about you, request a correction, or request deletion, use the contact form and identify the email address involved. Afrolu may need enough information to verify the request and may retain information where required for security, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
This page should be updated when the forms, cookies, analytics configuration, geo-detection providers, click tracking, or retention process changes. For a privacy question, contact Afrolu without including sensitive credentials.
