Changing your number? Keep dating-app access
Before changing your number, check how you sign in to your dating account and how you can recover access. If you want to close the account, follow that service's own instructions while you can still sign in. Then check any subscription where you pay for it. Removing the app from your phone may not close the account or stop billing.

Find who is billing a paid plan
Look at your receipt or payment record. A plan may be billed by Apple, Google Play or the dating service itself. Check cancellation with the provider shown on the bill; do not assume that account closure or uninstalling ends a separate subscription.
Apple says a family member whose Apple Account appears on a receipt may need to cancel that subscription. Google Play gives its own subscription-cancellation instructions. Those sources do not describe every dating service or promise a refund.

What if the old number no longer works?
Use the dating service's official support route to ask about account recovery or closure. Check the website address yourself instead of following a contact supplied by a stranger. The support team may ask you to verify ownership through its own process; the options vary.
If a payment continues, contact the billing provider through a trusted channel too. Account recovery and a billing problem may need separate requests.
